Jamaican Blue Vervain plant

Blue Vervain (Verbena Hasta, American Vervain) one of Dr. Sebi favorite herb is a native wildflower that grows from 2 to 5 feet.  It blooms purple-blue flowers on elongated stems which attract many species of butterflies,bees, and birds.  Not only is it grown for its beauty, it is a herb that is also used, usually in tea form, for numerous remedies.  It treats indigestion, calms anxiety, remedies colds, flu, coughs, fever,  provides liver support, soothes menstrual cramps, etc. (*Before using for medical remedies PLZ do your own research.)

Care:

Plant in regular potting soil in bright indirect light to partial sun.  This plant prefers moist conditions.  GROWS VERY QUICKLY.

Propagation:

This plant spreads through rhizomes (horizontal roots that produce new plants).  Seed and cutting methods are also used.
